90, 2.1L = 2 oil sender, low (below 2000rpm) and high (over 2000) pressure...

sound like the low one is giving up, or the wire is giving a false reading...

Change that sender anyway, for the OEM VW Blue one, most of the time, the wire is corroded.... And keep using good Castrol 20W50 grade
