The previous owner of my Syncro's mechanic replaced one head at some point and about 10k miles later replaced the other. Except for one leaky lifter that sometimes taps, it has worked OK for about 30-35k miles after the 2nd head was replaced. I can't remember the exact mileages but that is close. It has been a long time since I read those repair receipts.

But the lack of power in general and the frequent low oil pressure warnings at 202k on the engine have me thinking Conversion.
