I would remove both of the long hoses that run to the condenser and take them to a hydraulic shop and have new ones made. Make sure they use steel - not aluminum - connectors. They will probably have to reuse the fitting that connects to the back of the compressor, the rest should be standard stock. The total cost should be under $200.00. Eventually you might want to replace the two that run up to the evaporator, but thats a much larger job. Good luck, Tim John Wallace <jwallace@MSAD43.ORG> wrote: ...I blew my air conditioner hose (the one that goes from the compressor to the Condenser up front) the end of last summer by letting it idle on a hot day...not too smart! Lost all my refrigerant...now as summer is approaching I'll miss the cool air. I believe that's the high pressure hose?????...can I repair it or is the pressure too high?????? If anyone has a hose, let me know and what the price would be. Thanks a zillion, John Wallace Rumford, Maine 88 Wolfsburg Vanagon 4 speed 123K
