I'd like to install a 0-15lbs low pressure gauge into my cooling system to aid in monitoring it's condition. my FLAPS has in their HP section a 0-15lbs fuel pressure gauge(mech) and i'll run a small copper tube to. but my question is would I tap off the heater lines with a brass T fitting or off the top of the rad (bleed screw) I've tracked down a company who claims to have a 8mm Fine pitch to 1/4npt adapter.. Wouldn't the entire system show pressure if there is any pressure? rad if T stat isn't open? heater line if heater valve is closed? I'll also likely try a pressure sensor of some sort to activate a light(small light) when no pressure is present (ie empty or cold) but may try to incorporate some sort of logic circuit to light when temp is hot and pressure is low). this is mostly just a drawing board idea i've mentally toyed with mostly becuase I like over complication and gadgets... but hey ya never know..
