Just FYI, the '90-'91 base model (non-GL) Vanagons had rear facing jumpseats (gray tweed upholstery) with black side panels. Not that this makes them any less rare. I've seen several MV's for sale, but the only base model I've ever seen is the one I bought. I'm convinced that the base models existed solely so the dealer could have one on the lot and advertise a lower "prices starting at" number to draw people in, and then upsell them to a GL based on posh amenities like power mirrors and wing windows that actually open...
