On my so-called vanagon website

http://www.knology.net/~felder/Vanagons/

I have a PDF of a 1990 vanagon sales brochure that covers the westy models. You'll find no difference but a color change in any of the camping equipment from 80 to 91, except that they made the closet door short enough to open without swinging the rear table out first, which you have to do in earlier models.

Perhaps someone can tell you when that change was.

Other than that, the changes were only in trim, seating options, etc. and the well-documented engine change from 1.9 to 2.1 liter engines.
