If in doubt, do it now, for tomorrow may be to late.

Otherwise, for myself, I've got my van on a 5 year plan for the fuel lines, and just replaced them a couple of weeks ago. In the last year I have had a leaking injector hose( rotted), and one rotted leaking hose at the fire wall and one rotted hose over the top of the engine, and one hole rubbed through the hose by the end of the throttle cable. They were new from a list vendor in February of 2000. This seemed pretty odd, so to play it safe, I went the route with all new hose. I think five years is long enough interval between replacements, otherwise do as needed. But always look at those hoses frequently. Easy to rub a hole, even if the rubber is good.
