Very interesting. For mine I am removing the full top. The problem I am into at the moment is, do I rig the rear to tow from the front and tie into the frame members to tow, or do I tie into the bumper mounts and tow from the rear? I like the vanagon hatch area just like it is and am going to build a box under it for closed storage in that area.
