Thanks for the info. But I have a few questions...

Maybe there are different setups, but on mine it seems that it will be necessary to cut the metal edge inside the door to allow the ends of the recessed track to be exposed, thus allowing the seat to be engaged with these tracks and slid in, stopping when the track runs out.

I also have two metal end caps to cover the rails at the end near the door.

Did you cut your metal edging, or does yours require something other than end-loading the seat into the rails?

I can send pictures if I need to.
