Rather than a rubber hook, I'm thinking more along the lines of something I could take with me, so I could use the jumps seats for seating outside the van (like when I'm tailgating before the baseball/football game). Yes, those $7 folding "butterfly" style chairs are fine, but hauling those around cuts down on space for beer. Besides, everybody has those chairs.

I think I'll try to figure out some sort of wood frame that fits together like those geometric toys we had as kids, and stacks flat when disassembled...

Since I don't have a garage, if my jump seats don't go with me they sit in the middle of my living room floor. Hehe. (About not having a garage: Yes, I spend an ungodly amount of time washing/waxing my van to protect it from the elements... I could've BUILT a garage with the time/resources/$$ I've spent on keeping the van "protected"!)

I use a rubber covered bike hook. It's screwed into the wall at the same height as the jumpseat is when installed in the van. Keeps them off the dirty garage floor too. -- BenT
