Unique VW Bus Shortened Trailer-Great Wi - 100 OBO This is a shortened VW Bus that is made into a trailer. It was shortened approx 4'. It uses a 2 inch coupler. No windshield. Transaxle has been removed and it tows well. No registration, this will have to registered as a home made trailer. Has anyone ever tried to convert an old vanagon that still has a good chassis section to a trailer? I am looking at a section of the rear from the bumper mounts up to about 3.5 feet I front of the rear axel.
