<<http://tinyurl.com/3wlcb Has anyone used them? What do you think? I like the idea that you use a cable to grab the clamp and the squeeze handles are a foot or two away...seems useful in cramped world of waterboxers and the 150 or so hose clamps the cooling system uses.>> I have a set of these from Snap-On as well as straight, 45, and 90 degree clamp plier's. The cable plier's is a neat tool, but don't yank down on the handles too hard with a stubborn clamp. The cable will stretch, and the jaws won't compress far enough to release the clamp any longer. A replacement cable is available, but it isn't warranteed. They'll deem it operator abuse. |
