I cahnged all the evaporation hoses over the gas tank about 4 years ago, 6 years at the most. Darn desert, the hoses are all weeping again. Anyone have ideas as to using fuel injection hose would increase the lifespan of the hoses. The gas tank in a PIA to drop in my opinion because You need to get the front of the bus so high. I'd like to avoid having to do it so often. Also is the plastic hose with the T pieces on the end prone to leaking again. I replaced it and the Ts when I did the job before. I'd like to save the expense of replacing it--but because of time and where I have to do the work I'll need to have it on hand of it needs replacing. Nowhere to lay up the bus for a few days while I wait fro the part. Finally anyone ever done this or anything in an old style "pit" garage. The garage with the hole in the center of the floor so you can stand down there and work under your car? I may have access to one, and wonder if anyone had experience good or bad in these foxhole-type situations. Best, Jeff 83.5 Westy LA,CA |
