The vinyl on my cabinet over the lower bunk has peeled off and I am trying to remove the glue. I used my heat gun to remove the little pieces of vinyl that were left, that worked great. I tried to use the heat gun to get the glue off but no luck. I tested to see if it was water soluble and it seems to be as I can scrape some off once it softens a bit, but that would be a long job. Has anyone tried wall paper remover to get the old glue off once the vinyl is gone? Or does anyone have other suggestions? I would like to get it clean and then I will put some new adhesive and vinyl to restore it to original. Thanks Pascal '84 Westy |
