Subject: Re: Another Vanagon Burns Up

I have no more comments than this one.... http://www.benplace.com/fuel_line.htm

No i have more: Now, if anyone of you guys is STILL STUPID enough to drive a 15-20 years old VW stupid fuel injection design van with the original fuel line.........ouffffffffffffff......... on top with kids and family in the back!!!!! The VW fuel injection Flat four designe is one of the worse in the world... the only thing you can do about it is change the line, keep the system tight and clean...

Am pissed from what i see everyday... i did more than 10 Vanagon lately, and over 20 since last September..........ALL OF THEM EXCEPT ONE had the original fuel line, on top, they where ugly!!!!, leaking, rusted clamp....

VW use the "Press FI clamp" everywhere for the exception of the injectors rail, there, they use the normal FI clamp with a screw, those are always rusted, broke or loose.

The only thing am proud of, is i have convince 95% of those customers to have the job done or do it themselves....

Cheers, and DRIVE SAFE!!!!!!!! Ben http://www.benplace.com/fuel_line.htm
