Hey all, I just got back from an 800 mile plus trip to Oregon from the San Francisco Bay area and the van ran great despite being in the midst of a winter storm for about the last 7 hours of the trip. The next day I go for a little drive to the store and I notice that at low RPM's the idle is surging. It's a point just above sitting idle. Once I give it more gas it seems to run just fine. My question is, does the "intermittent syndrome" occur at low RPM's too. The web page that has the capacitor fix on it describes the "syndrome" happening at cruising speed situations. At least that's the way I interpreted it.... TIA, Paul Rogers 85 Westy |
