Hi Greg,
        I am from Toronto and have traveled this 219 highway several times
on my way to Washington DC and I can highly recommend it as one of the ways
less traveled. All you will ever desire on a highway is there plus plus.
Enjoy!! Wish I could take the trip along with you and the others but
California this time of year is simply more than any camper can ask for. It
does go through the mountains but it is no big deal - just some high hills
and beautiful road.
