The standard tail light is 6 CP. 32CP bulbs are not designed for continuous operation and they will damage the housings in time. They will also help destroy the headlight switch.

There are 4 bulbs per assembly. Stop Turn Backup Running light

Is it the running light that has the problem? I had planned to go no higher that 32cp on that one. Just makes sense to me, considering that it is on the longest.

Thanks, Matt

Careful on the use of the brighter bulbs. Some have had melt downs of their lamp assemblies. The tail light (not the stop or turn) seems to be the main one. ........................................ jimt Planned insanity is best.
