use Devcon brand "plastic welder" would be a better choice.. the stuff is awesome, and bonds to the speedo cluster housing very well..you can even sand it afterewards. to repair the speedo housing corners, i remove the screws on the damaged corners, and then rub the screws against a candle, so it gets wax on the screws. then i use black elec. tape on the inside of the housing area, so the plastic welder stuff doesnt sag..gives it a "form". then i reinsert the waxed screws, and just fill in the whole corner with the plastic welder with alittle popsicle stick as my spreader. once the stuff sets up, you can remove the screws easily, as they have wax on them and didnt permantntly bond to the plastic welder..

ive probably fixed 10+ speedo cluster housings this way...great results..
