Best at hand solution. Use Mothers wax or oxidation remover and then a nice coat of wax. The real key to having wax last a long time is to use car wash soap and never your wife's dish soap. The dish soap and $100.00 car wash solution strip your wax after a couple of applications. I waxed my Green Westy twice a year for ten years and it lived in the Texas sun and rain for those ten years. About the nearing of year ten I was seeing some primer through the paint on some of the ridges on the front cowl area.
