Hi Greg

You are wise to consider terrain and elevation on your trip planning.

I was on the 81 Virginia/NC route last week and made the note to avoid it with my westy.

[ 1.5 hours uphill in 2nd gear....does not sound tempting. ] A fellow listee

let me know that 95 is flatter but has alot of traffic. [ far out of your way however..]

What are your thoughts your former route on 79 / 77? Does anyone have a preferred

route for the east coast? I will be headed to Florida Keys next Christmas in the Westy

[woo! woo! ] and would be interested in additional input on Eastern seaboard travelling.
