I was gitt'nit down the interstate here one day in heavy traffic whe all of a sudden the oil light suddenly came on and the buzzer began to how. Scared the pooty out'n' me! I opulled over to the side of the road an found that a belt had failed. I thought, well, that has nothing to do with the oil. So I fired it back up and let it idle, and everything seemed fine. I pulled back onto the highway and the instant the engine hit 200 rpm the lights cam on and the alarm sounded. I pulled over again, and hanother look. I then found the failed belt had knocked the connector off the first time. Slipped it back on and it was good to go.
