Dennis, What do you mean about the alternator swivel bolt being tightened after the belt tightening? I assume you mean the bottom bolt? I always tighten that one last... have I been doing it wrong? I just assumed once you tighten that one it would be harder, if not impossible, to tighten the top one. I'm having a hell of a time keeping my alternator belt tight (it keeps working itself loose) and I will try anything! Please elaborate. tia, jame benthall 87 Westy (The Phoenix)
