Hi Tom,

I drove that leg of I-81 on the way back from Everybus back in 2000. It
was a clear day, and my fully loaded 1.7L air-cooled westfalia managed
most of the hill at 53 MPH in 4th, though I eventually had to drop to
third when boxed in by slower-moving traffic. I passed three or four
boiled-over pickups and sedans on the way up; THAT was very satisfying.
