This morning at the Safeway in Cottonwood AZ, I ran into Claude and Ginette Nadeau, from Quebec. They are out for 6 months in their '86 Westy, white in color. You won't have any trouble recognizing it. It has a large, aerodynamic, cargo container attached to the regular cargo hold above the cab. It looks like the front of a big semi-truck. Think it was called Bagawest. Attaches securely and access is from the poptop window. They were on their way to the Grand Canyon and then west to California. They should have a nice time at the GC. Our winds are finally dropping and the temperature climbing back into the 80's. Very nice people. Not familiar with this list, but they know Frank Condelli.

Gerry, nice people you meet at the Safeway. Here's more to the story. Claude and my partner Rita used to live near each other when kids in Rouyn-Noranda, QC. Claude one day is browsing through the list of members of the _IWCCC_ (http://www.westfalia.qc.ca/) , The Quebec Club, and sees Rita's name. He phones here and wants to know if Rita is the same Rita he used to live near, whoa and eventually we meet up with him and Ginette at the next IWCCC gathering. Small, small world ! The Bagawest, nice gadget, eh ? I know the fellow, Yvon, who makes them, what a trip he is. He and his brother are now doing Subaru conversions over in Acton Vale, QC. He's done a SVX one recently and was very impressed with himself on that occasion. Anyways, just some trivia to fill the archives this morning.

Cheers,
