Hi Tom,
Thanks for the info. I've tripped around and through the Allegheny Mtns
since EveryBus 2001 and have either taken US15/29 to the east or gone
west on I-90 over to I-79 and south through Pittsburgh.
I was hoping that 219 would be passable because it would save an hour's
trip east or west to take the other routes. But if it's gonna eat my
bus for lunch then I'd rather not bother. I asked the lists because I
realize that a road maps don't usually tell you how steep the grades
are, or how twisty those squiggly thin lines are in real life. Or that
there's a stop sign at the bottom of every hill.
Hmmm. Perhaps the toll roads are a better idea after all.
