HI Paul and the list, This technique of adjusting the idle micro switch will ensure that the circuit opens and closes at the specified .005 after the throttle has been open, or is closing. This tell the ECU which fuel map to follow. It's best to reconfirm your that your basic fuel injection settings are good. 1. Then with the engine off, and key off, adjust the microswith. 2. Locate the microswitch disconnect plug, my 91it is just in front of the throttle body, it has only two wires. 3. Connect a Volt ohmnmeter lead to each microswitch wire, and set your VOM to read ohm or just the beeper tone which indicate continutiy. 4. Place a .005 feeler guage blade between the Throttle body idle stop and butterfly lever. 5. observe or listen to the VOM. Adjust until you hear the tone or observe continutity with the switch close, and hear no tone or see no contiunity with the feeler blade in place.
