I see you have the front edge of the console lipped over the dash.  Did
you do the installation or was the console already installed when you
got the doublecab?

The doublecab has the same dash as US spec '80~'84 vans and I'll be
installing one into my '85 Westy which has the padded dash.  I plan to
use a profile gauge to transfer the shape to the console prior to cutting.
