Subject: Filling propane -- success story!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Went to top up the propane in readiness for Everybus this afternoon. This was the first time so I was a little nervous since people have had so many problems. Luckilly, mine were very minor.

Guy at first place (Ace Hardware) says he can do it but can't get it done. He connects everything up but none goes in! Meanwhile junior guy watching kept insisting that it wasn't allowed to be filled unless the handle looked a certain way. After giving up he says that his nozzle might not be long enough to press the valve in.

Guys at the second place (KOA Campground) were really nice. Once chats with me about the 68 westy he once had while the other fills some portable tanks, then mine. It took him all of 45sec to do it -- and now I know how. The first guys didn't open the overflow valve so none went in :) Once filled he bled his line and I swear more came out than went in the tank. At least it took longer.

john Happilly looking forward to Everybus!
