Joel, So you wanted that higher temperature because of those cold canadian winters, eh? Should make no difference where the needle sets as long as you have no unusual fan activity or your not loosing coolant. The better question is what happens when you are pulling a good hill on a hot day. You need a president up there? Take ours please. happy trails, gary

I change my thermostat last year and the temp needle is higher since. It used to be in the middle of the red light and now it is just above. It is because I have this higher temperature thermostat? Is it OK if the needle is higher or just above the red light?

Is it also true that the higher temperature thermostat wears out the hoses? Thanks Joel
