I talk to vanagon owners almost daily and have noticed a few things lately. - Vanagons seem more popular than ever. They don't seem to be fading away. - People are willing to spend the time, effort and money to fix them up and keep them going. - I've talked to three people in the last month who formerly owned eurovans and have gone back to the vanagon westfalia. - Engine conversions are more popular than ever. Everyone has either done it or has it in the back of their mind. - I have noticed a new group of younger people, 20s, who are getting vanagons. And spending money on them. Maybe this is the same demographic who would have been driving type two buses 10 - 15 years ago. - A lot of vanagon owners are also dog owners.
