My god, you need to get rid of those points and get electronic ignition. I struggled for YEARS with my '67 Dart constantly trying to keep it tweaked just right. The guy I bought it from had a '69 Charger he'd owned since high school and the ONLY thing he changed on that '69 was the ignition. I eventually did the same on that Dart, and man, it was like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Really, you gotta go to electronic ignition. You won't be sorry.
