I use a small pump that screws onto the top of a quart oil container. You can also put a funnel on the end of a hose, run the end of the hose into the tranny filler hole, and hold the funnel end of the hose while you fill. Much easier if you jack up that side of the van and create a space between the fender and top of the tire. Actually, jacking the van up helps while I use the pump too. Just creates more space to work in.
