Tom, I wouldn't worry. I have 15" wheels on my '84 westy (along with the spare), running 215/65s and had no problem with coolant hose. It was definitely a tighter fit, but no crimping involved (or even close to that). The problem i did have was with the spare tire tray. It is formed to fit the stock steel wheels, and the alloys don't sit in it well (at least mine didn't). Watch for the tray scratching the center of the wheels. Mine did, and my fix was to bend the middle down an inch or so. Also, the upper tire retaining wire does not accommodate a wider wheel, so my fix was to simply remove it. I then used a bolt as a hinge for the tray, and used webbing from a climbing store to hold down the tire (not that it is terribly necessary to do that). An afternoon of playing around will get you taken care of. No worries. -Damon
