Here is a link showing a guy adding 3 spacers to each side of his rear 2wd springs. I understand he later removed one from each side leaving 2 each. I've been told it's better not to remove the bolt from the outer swingarm bushing because if it isn't put back exactly the way it was, your alignment could be adversely affected. I've heard, indirectly, of people using old CV joint cages for spacers, but I have no direct knowledge (I knew a guy who knew a guy that had heard of doing this). http://www.knology.net/~vw/vanagon/sag/ Mike
