Replacing exhaust manifold that was improperly replaced by former owner's incompetent mechanic, has escalated to very difficult, if not impossible project and may at the least mean removal and perhaps replacement of the head. (I have suffered from every repair that they made, bus would have been trouble free if they had never repaired it. Fortunately not in business any more) I have a spare engine that I have never heard run but was replaced with a Subaru by its former owner, supposedly with less than 70K miles, half that of my engine, so I am tempted to pull original and replace with spare, hoping for the best. Does anyone have a web site or document with a step by step procedure that might keep me on the right track. I have a copy of the Bentley manual, but find it lacking in offering the correct sequence of action. Thanks for any help and advice.
