Thanks Sam for the reply of my problem. The previous left front tire was a Goodrich passenger tire 185R14 installed by previous owner. Max psi to only 35. I think most likely the new tire is not the cause of the problem. Dennise may be right, something is dragging the vanagon, and slightly reduce speed at same engine rpm. I just raised the front end, and checked for drag of the two front tires, they both spin well with a little sound of friction. Because of the new brake discs and pads, this should be normal. I just put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank, hopefully that will help.
