Subject: Erratic AT....Sea Foam flush.......?

Just installed a used AT and engine, new screen and like 50% of fluid. Drove it for about a week and have drained another 2.5 quarts still erratic. Dives nice for a while then it starts to not want to go into 3rd then suddenly its there. Im using cheap fuild for the flushes but im having trouble finding a dex 2 only fluid. Going to use sea foam AT flush before i take it to a shop for a 100% flush (if it will work on a vanagon AT) and Mobil 1 synthetic AT fluid. But im worried, the fuild i drained to day still looked dark and foreboding. Anyone use any of these produtcs Sea foam flush , mobil 1 at fluid ? looking for some testimonials. Thanx Raul
