Subject: Difference between Sachs, Luk HD, Luk Premium?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

A couple of questions as I prepare to move from a 1.9 WBX automatic to a 2.0 aircooled standard:

Is there $80 difference between Sachs and Luk?

I have tree trunk legs, but my wife doesn't - is the HD much harder to depress than the Sachs?

Also, how do you know when clutch master/slave parts are about to fail? Is it a surprise event (like should I buy parts and keep them on hand just in case), or are there warning signs to look for?
