Subject: Re: Chopper on hot pursuit - or weird sound from rear-wheel
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hans, That's exactly the sound I was getting out of my 90 Multivan last summer before I replaced the rear wheel bearings.

Thanks,

Brent

Hi

It sound like I have a chopper on hot pursuit at 5 o'clock.

Or more specifi, I have a bad knocking sound coming from around the = right rearwheer when cornering under load, as well as sometimes going = straight under load.

If I just roll, it isnt there.

So I guess that it comes from somewhere like; Gearbox, driveshaft or = wheel bearing. But what is your best guess for this sound?

Happy driving

Jens Jakob
