I would bet those curtain rod covers would be better served as a vacuum formed part than an injection molded part (cheaper tooling, but a little more expensive piece part price... but still in the "buck or two" range).

I know of vendors, but that is up here in Vancouver, BC (Canada, eh), and i would be surprised if you ever made up the cost of tooling... I would estimate $500 to $1k for a vac form. Injection molding would be closer to $3k or $4k

Just a couple things to think about...

Don't a couple list members have little vacuum formers in their garages? I remember something about this a little while back...
