I guess this is what I was wondering about. Swapping the cabinetry over didn't seem like that big a deal.

I should have clarified a little bit. I have an '85 Westy which I love, and am about to do an SVX swap. I keep having this nagging thought that if I'm going to go to all the trouble of the swap, I should start with a Syncro, but there's no way I'm going to get a Syncro Westy squeezed into the toy budget in the next few years.

Just wondering how sane it was to consider adding a Syncro to the mix. But giving up the pop-top is a big deal to me. (headroom, and I almost never use the lower bed)
