Subject: List vendors - anyone sell a complete steel brake line kit?
Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed

Subject says it all... but I'll say more anyway. :-)

In my attempt to get to EveryBus in my '85 Westie last week, I blew my main clutch line (the 11 footer that runs under the van from front to back). Ordered one at a VW parts counter, according to the parts clerk, that leaves VW US with a total stock of four (get 'em while they can be gotten, folks).

Last winter, my steel power steering line rusted out and dumped all it's fluid.

I can take a hint, so it's time to do a total brake line replacement before I wrap my pride n' joy around some tree.

Do any of the list vendors offer a kit of pre-made lines for this?

Failing that, do any of the vendors sell the fittings and lengths of brake line that will let me roll my own?

Tim
