My curtain rod cover is as brittle and yellow as anyones. A few ugly repairs have kept it "functional." After a trip to the desert I noticed it was cracked up a little worse. When the photos came back there's one Beth took of her sister Jessica lying on the rear bench seat reading with her feet up and one foot resting right on the curtain rod cover. Argh!

The picture makes the damage almost worth it because it makes me look popular in a way a guy with a Westfalia rarely is.

More to the point. About 4 years ago called the guy--the guy who allegedly helped design the Westfalia--Euro...something was the name of the company. He used to be out here in CA but I think he's in Tennessee now. Anyway he didn't have any more--they're obsolete.

But here's the question. Did this guy manufacture the parts for the Westflia for VW, and might he be willing to re-tool or get rid of the molds in some listees direction? Does anybody have a relationship with this guy? Sorry I can't remember his name or the company--was it EuroCampers?

I bought stuff from him in the past for what it's worth.

Anyway I'm in need of a new curtain rod cover, but $500- $1K is a bit out of my budget. Best, Jeff 83.5 Westy LA,CA
