Subject: Sliding Window
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I have tried many things to get my sliding window in the sliding soor to stay put. I have adjusted the latch over and over. I think the problem really lies with the black guide it slides on being worn enough to allow the latch to miss. This is a 1986 vanagon GL, does anyone have a source for the guide, and how it is installed? I could not find much in my Bentley. I wonder if it ispossible for me to remove the lower back guide from the Drivers side, and swap it with the front guide on the passengers side? The Drivers side is not worn, and does not have the same problem. Any Ideas how, and how to secure the guise, once it is in place?

Thanks,

Matthew C. Huntley Thawte Web of Trust Notary
