Google says http://www.explorer1.com/tahoe/camping.htm

Fallen Leaf Lake or Camp Richardson. All the CA State Parks are too far away unless you want to go to Eagle Point Campground on the south side of Emerald Bay.

BTW, the Ehrman Mansion side (lake side) of Sugar Pine Point will have Wi-Fi available before the end of May.

Currently San Elijo SB, San Clemente SB, and Auburn SRA have wi-fi available.

Hi All,

I'm looking for a Vanagon-friendly rv park or campground recommendation for the Lake Tahoe area for some late season skiing.

The perfect place would have : Hot water showers & resrtooms A nice campsite location / view (i.e. not something that feels like a parking lot) Fire pits Reasonably close to the Heavenly slopes or walkable to a shuttle Electricity hookups (for running a heater at night, though I might consider a catalytic lpg heater instead)

Thanks!
