Great document, and that seems like MUCH less work that a poptop and
interior transplant.

Makes me wonder about the Syncro FAQ over on vanagon.com.

Well, maybe not. It's not at all clear there will be enough parts
remaining to put the front end back together on the donor bus, but
that's hardly a deal breaker.

The other thing that is encouraging is that, with some forethought, I
could do the SVX swap now and do the syncro thing later. I'd have to use
a different motor mount, but (and I'll confirm this over on Warren's
list) everything else should swap over, more or less.
