I simply observed that a plug was there. Had I checked it for tightness I would've probably noticed what it was made of, too. I installed the exhaust system and got underway. About 2 blocks later ... the exhaust tone changed and I found that the plug was no longer there. Hence the plugging of the hole with an oil drain plug of the proper size. Mike |
