83.5 1.9 wbx The return of warm weather has brought the return of a stalling/no restart problem. Outside temp 22 C Driving in traffic, temp gauge crawls up to 3/4 (normal is just above the red light) Starting off. accelerates in first, shift to second and it stumbles, balks. no power (feels like fuel starvation). With judicious use of throttle can sometimes get it to catch and it will run if the revs are kept up. Too slow as in an idle situation and it stalls and will not restart until it cools off. Then starts normally and runs fine until temp rises again. Normal start when cold is one first attempt (two or three revs on the starter.) When warm engine usually does not start on the first attempt but will easily on the second or sometimes third attempt (3 sec cranking per attempt) Any insights greatly appreciated. temp II was replaced last summer.
