There is only 1 oil pressure sensor, on top of the oil cooler mount, and one temp sensor on the driver's side cylinder head. There is not factory installed protection from overheating except for the melting of pistons and valves. There is also an air temp sensor in the AFM. If the thermostat system is in place, the bellows being expanded when cold is a sure sign the engine has overheated. Dennis
